Students have the opportunity to earn a variety of scholarships awarded for academic, artistic, and/or athletic achievement. Students can access the scholarship section of ConnectEDU for scholarship information. Any student seeking a scholarship should see his/her counselor or Mrs. Johnston for information as soon as possible.
Scholarship applications and information can be obtained from the college and career center. Keeping a portfolio that contains highlights of achievements, awards and campus activities is recommended.
Because most scholarships require high academic achievement, students should begin planning in the ninth grade to meet academic criteria necessary to be successful at a postsecondary institution. Students should complete an application for Bright Future Scholarships and the FAFSA in the spring of their senior year. Please see the Career Specialist for more information.
